The tree is shaped like a triangle pointing toward the sky. Its roots are inverted triangles pointing downward, pushing deep into the ground.
With the equilateral triangle upward, the inverted triangle downward, and the sky and earth connected, they achieve perfection and grow.
A triangle shaped like a triangle pointing toward the sky symbolizes perfection in geometry. In a cosmic sense, it marks the beginning of creation. It also symbolizes cosmic truth, the past, present, and future temporally, the trinity symbolizing harmony with God in religious terms, and in Taoism, the Eastern religion, the meaning of heaven and earth.
The sacred and positive vitality of truth and balance, and the creative vitality is also symbolized by masculinity.
However, the symmetrical inverted triangle is likened to femininity, as if the roots of a tree are ready to dig into the earth, and in a negative sense, it is represented by darkness, death, and rebirth. I am a woman standing beneath that negative.
It is a fated being who must live a life as a womb that absorbs all the troubles and pains in darkness to produce fruit.
For perfection, the triangle is the stable shape that stands firmly on the ground and faces the sky.
With such thoughts, I have adopted many of my works as the stability of the triangle, as representations of the mind.
A mirror symbolizing the heart is set inside a triangle in the central shape, where an unexpected vertical polygonal sphere is created, carrying symbolic meaning to be conceived.
The imagery within the form contained and the semantic relationship with the surrounding parts are connected as a whole, forming new symbols and metaphors.
The large structure in 'Entering My Triangular Kaleidoscope,' also called the pyramid, follows this same vein; it is designed to be a kaleidoscope structure with three sides as mirrors, so that entering it makes one forget oneself.
I wanted to use the kaleidoscope I used to play with as a child, to create something of joy in a boring life.
All kinds of endless anguish arise in the mind, created by countless colored papers that change within a kaleidoscope made of mirror tunnels, creating a pure and never the same. No. Ah. With the shapes and colors of rock, they endlessly reflect each other, creating a color echo that creates a sense of ecstasy.
